Like an introvert cousin to the alfresco delights of the then-current New Wave shorts, the much less enthralling Presentation struggles to graduate to any higher plateau than that which might be afforded a film that, when it comes to it, boils down to ten solid minutes of people correcting each other. There's no spice, no verve to Rohmer's bore; a pretender to the great likes of Les Mistons and Charlotte and Her Jules.
