It's certainly affective and sensitive, but why the hell did she have to stay with the rich guy at the end anyway? I feel miserable for Duckie, that moron that stalked her for a decade and ended up alone, forced to hook up with a fuckin' dumb chick. I think the finale is the most depressing in the history of human kind.

Hated the ending. Blaine was a total dick, and she's got a guy in Ducky that'd do anything for her, and she goes with the total dick. I don't like reality in my cheesy 80s movies. Ducky probably went home and offed himself while Blaine knocked Andie up. But, the Smiths are on the soundtrack. Morrissey can make anyone feel better just because he's so pitiful, so I can't dislike this movie.
