Summary: A young man, Ajayan (Jagadish), after the financing company he was a cashier in, sinks, runs off to Madras to escape public wrath. There, he stumbles upon a young girl child someone left on the railway tracks to die. He rescues the child & later tries to dispose of her in various ways, but the child always ended up back with him. After a while, Ajayan becomes attached to the child, names her Kukku & takes up a job to support her. At that point, the child's real mother turns up & claims her. (by iceblox)
