Summary: This based on a true story movie was one of best ones made in Poland in 1990s. Very entertaining, with a very good plot and acting, it takes place in Poland right after WWII ended and the communists established themselves as new rulers of the country, with the help of the Soviets. After 45 years of communist regime and propaganda there's finally some taste of the truth: the Soviets are portrayed as arrogant aggressors, rather than friendly-disposed harmless allies. (imdb)
