I remember when my mom wouldn't let me watch this movie when it came out on VHS. I watched it anyway. Love at first sight.

Great movie. The eclectic storytelling method works well. Favorite parts are Bruce Willis saving Marcellus from "Zed" and the climax establishing Jules' transition into a life of peace.

Started out promising, then dragged a lot. Got better towards the end, but the movie was painful to sit through most of the time.

Simply a classic. Tarantino will probably never again make a movie this good.

Bad ass motherf*cking film.

One of the best films ever made. Relaunched Travolta's career and made Jackson the Bad Mother we know and love.

For better or worse this film had a huge following and made a great impact on movie making in the 90s. People raved about the clever dialogue, as if they'd never seen Seinfeld, and never before heard the bible quoted back to them. Truth be told it's a very decent indie-flick, with some cleverly concieved characters and some effective scenes. It's also a bit boring, and primarily aimed at sad white men raised by women.

Often praised for having "one of the best screenplays ever written," it is actually in love with its own cleverness. The title of the film properly defines what we are in for, as there is not much to appreciate aside from an entrancing sense of style. In the beginning, it is brilliant. With time, it becomes irritating.
