Summary: Unnikrishnan (Dileep), a jobless youth, who is heavily in debt, decides to commit suicide after taking an insurance policy which he figures would pay back his loans, after he dies. He jumps into the sea, but he reaches a distant place & gets caught in the fishing nets of Gangadharan (Cochin Haneefa). He thinks that Unni is deaf and mute and Gangadharan gives Unni and his own assistant Ramanan (Harisree Ashokan) as collateral to the 'Punjabi House', where he himself had taken a loan from.
