Summary: Naarayanan Unni (Prithviraj), a youth who cannot accept his mixed parentage, a Brahmin father & a low caste mother (Sreekala), leaves home on an identity quest & comes to Kuttanad to trace his mother's roots. There he stays with an amiable, but mentally deranged woman (K.P.A.C. Lalitha) & her young daughter Jayasree (Samvrutha Sunil), where Jayasree fed her family by sleeping with her own uncle (Nedumudi Venu).
