Usual Burns style, nonspectacular but an honest romantic comedy or an account of relations if that sounds better. Would have worked far better Burns could have stayed away from the miserably cliched ending.

A sub par romantic drama, that suffers from dialogue and story issues. Burns creates an interesting premise for this film which takes on two interesting characters, played by both himself and Blair. However, the two most interesting characters aren't paired together and are instead forced to wander aimlessly through the movie next to sub par characters and acting. Burns is very in tune with the type of character he himself can play, unfortunately this didn't translate to the rest of the story.

Actually wonderful. What Dedication tried to be but wasn't quite. Selma Blair and Patrick Wilson have amazing chemistry. I will always love Edward Burns, and Debra Messing wasn't horrible.
