It's actually greater fun anticipating the resolution to this inventive spin on the Tom & Jerry formula than with the more traditionally-minded of the collection, its subtle undertones and ante-upping scenarios the kind of thing that's needed to break up the monotony of most this stuff. The idea of not giving the jaded owner catharsis when her embracing of technological advancement over her established pet backfires is especially welcome.
