Winning performance by Murray, Geena Davis was hot, entertaining film.

The opening third, in all its goofy nihilistic glory, is infinitely rewatchable. The rest can be a bit of a chore to get through unless you're in the perfect mood. Bill Murray is obviously brilliant most of the time. Geena Davis comes off as very authentic and natural. Tony Shalhoub is also notable for stealing every scene he's in (all two or three). Unfortunately, very spare on ideas. And this is very much a movie that calls for "Last Detail" Randy Quaid, but we got a more innocent Cousin Eddy.

This movie is actually funnier than I was expecting. Not neccessarily a Bill Murray classic, but it does have its moments.

A nice surprise. Murray, as always, gives a pitch-perfect hilarious performance. One of the last films that really captured the feel of pre-Giuliani New York.

This is a highly underrated Bill Murray film. If you are a Bill Murray fan then you must see this movie. There are several supporting funny performance and Murray is hilarious in the lead role.

the bank robbery is a darkly funny scene that is brilliant in execution. the rest of the film meanders. there are some funny appearances by hartman, shalhoub, and bosco, but an increasingly annoying randy quaid takes some of the enjoyment out of this film.

Highly enjoyable heist comedy with Murray in one of his best roles. Robards is great and there are lots of good cameos. The digs at life in New York are very funny.

While it doesn't quite live up to its opening, this is still one of Murray's best films, as well as one of the best films about New York.

Even though Randy Quaid plays the same character he plays in every movie, it really works here. Bill Murray plays the lead in his trademark sarcastic-cool way, and you have an enjoyable little crime caper here.

Classic and under-appreciated New York film. Murray is at the top of his game here. This is a hysterical movie that deserves more love than it gets.

Just today, I saw Murray talking in an interview about directing and producing like he did in Quick Change. If this is the kind of thing he produced in 1990, I can't wait to see what he'll come up with today. If you enjoy Murray in comedies, you'll love this film.

Underrated classic heist comedy.

A great concept, with Bill Murray in top form. Notable for the hilarious heist sequence. As the film goes on it relies a bit too much on coincidence, and I'm not a huge fan of Geena Davis. Even so, it remains at least entertaining and often very funny.

Too serious for a comedy, too funny for a good crime drama.

kinda fun, but not good enough

This movie was a cool surprise. I was a little younger when I saw it, but I still remember it. It doesn't look like it would be any good, but Bill Murray pushes it along and makes you laugh a lot.
