Summary: Based on Madhavikutty's novel 'Manomi', with the Sri Lankan Civil War as the backdrop, Tamil poet & radical Thiruchelvam (Suresh Gopi), on the run from the cops, hides out at a house in the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border, where he meets Manomi (Mithra Kurian), a Sinhalese girl who tends to his wounds. Manomi falls in love with Thiruchelvam, but he spurns her love to continue his mission.
