A very straightforward, no frills action film, nevertheless executed very well. It has non-stop action throughout, and while Brandon Lee is the only guy with legitimate choreography skills, the fights are still consistently entertaining. They make the wise choice of eschewing pointless exposition and any feeble attempt at a story in favor of showing more gritty, desperate brawls. Thanks to this, what might well have been another mediocre flick is elevated into a legitimately good one.

This is a painful movie to watch. Despite having Brandon Lee, who gives the best performance he can, and Powers Boothe, actually playing a good guy, doing the best he can, and a really hot female nude art model, this film's action sequences are horrendously choreographed, did they EVEN rehearse?, and the plot is bare minimum to non-existant. You can assuredly pass on this, unless you're having a night of bad movies and drinking, in which case you will be drinking heavily viewing this.

Enjoyable but not great. This was Brandon Lee's big screen debut. The fight scenes are great though. Brandon Lee shows that he is talented on this film and it was a good way to break from his fathers shadow which is not an easy feat. Good to see the was more to him than just the crow (which is awesome) its a shame we couldn't see more
