Getting shot to death by a guy driving a pink cadillac convertible while the rolling stones play is a definetly a raw deal.

Cheap, chintzy, tacky and amateurish. One of Arnold's worst. It felt like he was struggling to remember his lines too..

"Raw Deal" is among the few odd ducks in Schwarzenegger's career. It looks cheap, tacky, and much of the storyline bores. The film actually has somewhat of a confusing plot going on, but that may simply be its lack of coherency. There's just something very distant about the whole project, and the real 'action' doesn't pick up until the final shootout.

Quite good for a stereo typical film. It was interesting and most of the action was good.

The system gave him a raw deal, nobody gives him a raw deal.

It doesn't matter how many times you paste his name across the poster, kids in Oklahoma still won't be able to spell Schwarzenegger.

Laughable attempt to portray Schwarzenegger with slicked back hair as a cop posing as a mobster. The story is equally silly and unbelievable, even for an 80s action flick.

Made to cash in on Arnie's fame just as it was on the rise, this is cheap, badly written and poorly directed. Arnie's charisma is just enough to keep you watching, but trying to play a slick wise-cracking gangster just isn't a part suited to him. There's plenty of brain-off action but it's horribly directed and choreographed, scenes happen for no good reason (where did his wife go for the rest of the movie?) and between shootouts there's an awful lot of not much happening. A rare Arnie turkey

For most of its runtime, this film downright sucks, as it focuses on an insipid, brain-dead plot. In particular, scenes with Arnie and his shrill, harpy wife are physically irritating and not what I want from a brain-dead Schwarzenegger vehicle. However, the last twenty minutes of this picture are damn good, featuring non-stop action, and a memorable scene of Arnie shooting people with an Uzi in a car playing the Rolling Stones' "Satisfaction". Still mediocre, but it has that going for it.

Really not that bad. I tried hard to make fun of it, but the direction and acting are pretty good. Especially compared to some of Arnie's other entries.

This is surely a product of the 80's.

Damn. I was pretty excited to see this with the hilarious tagline "His trigger has all the answers" and "He was given a Raw Deal....NO ONE gives him a Raw Deal." Huge disappointment from Arnold.
