The sequel, wisely enough, doesn't really try to be more of the same - despite the identical monster. From the more psychological (and underused) horror of the original to a straight-up monster B movie, complete with an obvious villain and black & white photography. But it's a well-done monster movie, and Vincent Price actually gets more to work with here than in the first movie.

Nowhere nearly as good as the first one. Also it's in black and white whereas the original _Fly_ was in color. How weird is *that*?

This movie follows the 1958 movie, The Fly, and also has Vincent Price, but it's horrible compared to it's predecessor. Everything happens in a predictable manner, and the end ties everything up so neatly it's sickening. This movie is also in black and white whearas the first was in color, i wonder why. I just wanted to see this to see how bad it was, and it exceeded my expectations by being worse than I thought. Don't bother with this one.
