R'ha

I have to start by saying, it's amazing to think this was created by one person, and the following snarky review should not take away from what Lechowski has accomplished. Unfortunately, while visually solid, R'ha ultimately feels like little more than a Mass Effect cut scene which draws on tired sci-fi tropes rather than explore the great unknown, despite having (literally) a whole universe of possibilities with which to do so. It'll be interesting to see what Mr. L can do with a bigger budget.

An imprisoned alien is questioned and tortured by a machine in this dark sci-fi short. It's undoubtedly a great technical achievement for a single person, displaying skill and maturity usually absent in twentysomethings...but the content is nothing we haven't already seen several times. I'm with Kojiless, I'd like to see what this kid could do with more time and money.

Beautifully made but some simplistic storytelling drags it down.

Impressive CGI work that has a story that's been done to death, even when a layer is added onto it the story is still to simplistic. Also sound at parts sounded very amateurish.
