Mind-numbingly, face-meltingly bad. As interesting as it is to see The Deuce in 1987 -- still writhing in its urine-soaked death throes -- the direction and continuity is so remarkably incompetent that you won't even have a chance to enjoy the filth. If you like cheap blood squib effects, feel free to add about 70 points to this score. Otherwise, avoid.
