Summary: Astronauts (Lloyd Bridges, Osa Massen, John Emery, Noah Beery, Jr., and Hugh O'Brien) blast off to explore the moon on. Because of craft malfunction and some fuel calculations, they end up landing on Mars. On Mars, evidence of a once powerful civilization is found. The scientists determinted that an atomic war destroyed most of the Martians (Who suprsingly look like humans). Those that survived reverted to a caveman like existance. (imdb)

Mystery Science Theater. Actually not that awful for an MST3K selection. I could almost watch this on its own.

In itself, not the best of films. I watched the MST3K version which gets a 4 star for being the first episode to feature TV's Frank and the final voice of Tom Servo. The film itself is a bit plodding and half assed when its gets down to it. BUT it does score points for having the balls to end the way it does,
