Elvis is Charlie Rogers, a leather-jacketed biker who's fired from a singing engagement after getting into a fight with a group of college toughs. While riding his cycle to the next gig, an irate dad runs him off the road when he flirts with his daughter. He's forced to hook up with a traveling carnival until his bike can be fixed... (IMDb)

If corny, the carnival setting, and Barbara Stanwyck, keep it interesting.

Probably the best Elvis film I've seen yet, though it still feels kind of typical (i.e. Elvis getting mixed up with multiple girls.) The carnival setting makes this film entertaining, not to mention the songs, which are pretty good.

Agreeable enough Elvis movie--from what I read, one of the better ones (wouldn't know--not my thing). What it has, though, is Barbara Stanwyck, and when she's onscreen, it's a Barbara Stanwyck movie. She's just right as the tough-talking carnival owner. The rest is fairly predictable, though Sue Ane Landgod gets in a couple of fun scenes. And some of the songs...I admit I never thought of rhyming "lemonade" with "panty raid".
