A fairly amusing farce. A retired doctor, priest and major spend their summer casually philosophizing by the lake, until their lives are disrupted by a travelling magician and his attractive assistant. It's not a gut-buster, but there are some funny moments and the characters all having endearing quirks. A slight but fun little romp, that may hold some kind of metaphor for the discerning Czech viewer (these Eastern Europeans have a way of sneaking political allegory into everything).
