Surprisingly OK, until the end goes way beyond all plausibility and the side plots inexplicably join the main one. The soundtrack - seemingly from the ipod of a late-'90's machismo idiot - didn't help matters. Simply, good moments are always overshadowed by bad ones, like the Wiltern doubling for 7th and Hope. Even the signs weren't covered. And the guy's name was Street. Seriously.

The techincal execution is actually good but not much can be done with a screenplay as crappy as this one.

Dull and uninspired, with very little to recommend. The idea is all right, but this movie turns it into a generic action movie. Even Sam Jackson is dull in this, which is saying something.
