Summary: Italy, 1943: Corporal Brian Haskins and Private John Grayson are due to be executed after facing a US military tribunal. Fresh out of West Point, Lieutenant Michael Sheppard is given command of their execution but his incompetence leads his firing squad members straight into an ambush set up by German forces.
