Summary: Kansuke Yamamoto (Toshirō Mifune) is a general of warlord Shingen Takeda (Kinnosuke Nakamura). Yamamoto has a ruthless but effective approach to battle and politics, and advises Takeda on almost everything he does, including the assassination of the lord of neighboring Suwa.
