Summary: Krishna Kurup (Thilakan), a factory worker, struggles to make ends meet for his family, while his sons struggle themselves to land stable jobs. While on a trip to secure a job for his second son Vinayan (Jagadish), Kurup & Vinayan meet with an accident, Kurup goes missing & is later presumed dead. Months later, Kurup turns up very much alive, but is shocked to find that his children have already built dreams around the proceeds from his death, & they were not prepared to accept him alive.
