If there's anything lamer than the 1999 version of _The Mummy_, it's a "Sc-F Channel Original" movie that brazenly and cheaply rips it off. The plot ardently refuses to make sense, the monster is silly (and stolen from _Stargate_, itself also not the most original of films), and George Kennedy, who was 82 at the time, genuinely doesn't seem to be, er, all there anymore
