Summary: Orphaned Lal aka "Lalettan" (Mohanlal) is the senior most & respected student of a college, studying for his 3rd masters degree there. After his ex-flame & ex-classmate Gayathri joins the college as a lecturer, Lal's old feelings blossom again.
