It somehow manages to be trashy and well made (not really but whatever) at the same time. The scary scenes are intense, creepy and overall excellent, the actresses are sweet and the screenplay is decent, maybe even kind of original. The opening scene is great. I'm not absoloutly keen on the ending though. It even reminds me a bit of Rosmary's Baby and Carrie. That's a huge compliment. The whole thing still feels medicore and made for TV, though.

Somewhat similar to the later _Suspiria_, though less flamboyant, this TV flick has a good cast (including two "Charlie's Angels"-to-be) and all the usual scenes of windswept nights, corridor-roaming heroines, and climactic holocausts you expect from this sort of enterprise.

Dumb and puerile made for TV "horror."

A lot of fun, with a good script, taut direction, and plenty of atmosphere. Plus it has two Charlie's Angels in early roles (and they're already working for Spelling in this one!). Love how Franklin is immediately able to enroll in the academy (just like the Angels used to insinuate themselves everywhere to begin their capers). Great line: "What the devil's going on?" The open-ended finale was no doubt rather daring for its time (and medium).
