Summary: Traces the misadventures of buddies J.D. (Black) and Wayne (Zahn), who begin to suspect that their best friend, Darren Silverman (Biggs), is going to allow himself to be badgered into marrying Judith (Peet), a woman he doesn't love. They decide to reunite him with his long lost love from their school days (Detmer) -- even if they have to kidnap Judith to do it. (Columbia Tristar)

Jason Biggs sucks... let's just all acknowledge that straight away. And the fact that we're supposed to pity his character because he's about to marry some hyper-controlling woman is insulting. Nobody is holding a goddamn gun to his head--- if she sucks so much, break up with her. Women are treated like absolute shit in this movie (THEY'RE EITHER NAGGING BITCHES OR PRECIOUS NUNS! VIRGIN/WHORE! VIRGIN/WHORE!), and the comic talents of Jack Black and Steve Zahn are completely wasted here.

I'm pretty sure this was the funniest movie I saw that year. It also had a strong link to my friendships. I have two really good friends and when one of us gets a girlfriend it's the end of the world.

Someday I'll learn that really movies are just previews expanded to fill a larger block of time without giving you anything else to sink your teeth into. Okay i laughed at a couple of the new jokes not in the preview, smiled at the ones I'd already seen & marveled at Amanda's performance, Jack's blank stares, & the simplistic balls out attempts at humor. Still, disappointing.
