Summary: Neelakantan (Harishree Ashokan), a down-on-the-luck young man, neck in debt & unable to hold down a job, steals & pawns his wife Savithri's (Aswathi) golden "aranjanam" (waist band) with the local rich man Ravunni (Innocent) to raise some money. The aranjanam starts a long string of issues for Neelakantan & Ravunni after Neelakantan gets hell from Savithri for pawning the jewellery & Ravunni starts getting obsessed with the aranjanam & subsequently, with Savithri herself.
