When I looked it up afterwards I expected this to be De Felitta's first directorial and/or screenwriting credit; turns out it was his last! Horrible movie with a horrible script and some almost laughably useless shots (using a fucking telegram as an expository device in 1990? Are you serious?) but somehow in this mess Sharon Stone gives a compelling and convincing performance.
