I can't see the Screams as anything but horror movie parodies, not real horror films. Each movie mocks builds it's plot around mocking it's own genera; ergo it is a parody; and at it's production value it should be no considered better than an Epic Movie or Date Movie.

Wes Craven's underrated opus? While it may return more or less to the same concepts as the first film, I would argue it's even better executed and more fun. And props for an amazing 90's soundtrack and score.

I saw this on TV without having seen the original, so the constant references to the previous movie annoyed me. I did enjoy it when Sarah Michelle Gellar got stabbed though.
