A bizarre freak out of a film!

Maybe 'Chase and chase again' would have been a more suitable title.

This movie spends too much time on the cops trying to find the killer, and you don't know what is going on until close to the end, when the movie twists to reveal the real horror story. Up to that point, it seems like this is a crime movie. I don't think this worked, because you expect some kind of suspense or horror elements, and you don't get any, so you get bored until they finally get back to Price's character in the end.

Almost no Cushing, very little Lee and what Price there is is horrible. The film offers lots of badly dated english arsing about though, so if watching a bunch of talentless limeys wank away, by all means go ahead.

Not bad. Hope you don't see it for the star cast, because Vincent Price is in about three scenes, Christopher Lee is in about two, and Peter Cushing is in only one. Interesting in a schizophrenic sort of way because the structuring is so weird
