Screwed, much like Norm Macdonald, isn't for everybody, but it worked for me. Alongside Norm are the hilarious Dave Chappelle and comedy legend, Danny DeVito. The stars really make this film something more watchable that it should be.

This rating is generous. I am a huge fan of Norm MacDonald, so I have been able to sit through this mess of a movie many times. The recipe for comedy is there for Screwed, but it fails more often then it succeeds.

There's plenty of this movie that isn't funny, and damned if it didn't bust me up in a couple places anyway. Danny & the Old lady are amazing. While not remotely a masterpiece of comic art, the picture is surprisingly painless to sit through & does offer up a couple solid laughs.

What is that is that urine?? It is!! It's human urine!!! AHHH

This movie is not good at all.

Amusing here and there thanks to Chapelle and Macdonald's comic talents, but in general the plot is too absurd. If these guys had been given the plot and allowed to write whatever they wanted, this would have been a lot funnier, but it takes a certain kind of humor to fit alongside a farcical story like this one, and they're too constrained to do much of anything. The film fails almost completely.
