It delivers precisely what it sets out to do, a consistent slightly over-the-top Will Ferrell comedy. The entire plot line is ridiculous and predictable, some jokes are weak and it drags bit, but it's still quite enjoyable with a lot of amusing moments.

I'm not at all a Ferrell fan, but I couldn't help thinking this was above the usual standard of dross that he serves up. High praise I know, but I laughed, and it was better than Step Brothers. Having said that, shitting your pants is a more satisfying experience than watching Step Brothers.

Okay the Russian roulette scene was pretty good.

Typical Ferrell fare, marginally better than Talladega Nights. "You can't just fly around like that! Look, he hovered!"

ferrell has a unique way of never realizing or for that matter making the audience realize that he's graduated from SNL's sub par written junk, i suppose it's suited him thus far so why stop?

Complete crap.

Silly comedy has a cast of good performers who create likable characterisations, but struggle against a juvenile, insubstantial screenplay which awkwardly shoe-horns in some 'adult' sex gags which seem out of place in the otherwise benign goings-on. At least Ferrell is always good for the odd giggle, and Arnett has a few funny moments. Set in the 70s for some inexplicable reason!

This is an uninspired sports comedy. There are many better, funnier sports comedies to watch.

Hilarious with Will Ferrell once again, but the addition of Woody Harrelson and the support cast made this movie very funny

Bland cookie-cutter commentary, but watchable.

The most enjoyable Will Ferrell movie of this type yet. For being R-rated it seemed to have the least amount of offensive material (either that or I'm getting used to it). Best of all, it actually had a full story line with multiple characters to love instead of just Will Ferrell. Even if you don't like basketball, this movie is worth watching once.
