Ferris Bueller's Day Off done wrong. The jokes are terribly unfunny, and the emotion is forced. The subplot about the principle is the best part, but even it drags on. The breaking of the fourth wall is unique (except it only highlights my earlier comparison). Some btter material could have made this work, although it never would have been great.

It appears that I'm one of the unfortunate few to have suffered through this steaming heap of trash. It's a shoddy rip-off of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, and one the worst teen comedies ever made.

TV edit. Norm Macdonald is underutilized and misused, but it has a few laughs sprinkled around. "I wanted to be an air conditioner repairman...you ruined that dream."

Ugh why did I watch.
