Parts of this are funny; however, after a while, the general tastelessness and juvenility wears out its welcome, even though this is only about eight minutes long. I rather strongly suspect, based on this and other works of his I've seen, that Plympton has never been a very big hit with the fair sex

Plympton has a style of animation all his own, rich in all kinds of metamorphoses. The trouble is, he preoccupies himself strictly with animated experiments in aforementioned style, resulting in mindless, virtually meaningless visual puns.
