Summary: Seyyit Han has been just released from prison. He comes back to his village and finds his fiancée Keje about to marry another guy. The villainous Haydar Bey spread the rumour that Seyyit Han has died in prison, so he could trick Keje's brother for permisson to marry her. At first the film follows the pattern of a western, then depicts the rituals and traditions in rural Turkey with a spark of Neorealism and becomes a revenge melodrama in the end.
