What a stinker. The story is a nonsensical clusterfuck, a narrative framed by a flashback structure that doesn't hold together at all. It's quite confusing, and what can be pieced together is very routine stuff. The performances are uniformly terrible (sometimes to the point of being comical) and the dialogue is even worse. The few stylistic flourishes aren't enough to hide the otherwise amateurish production, and I can think of very little to recommend. Bleccch.

Too complicated for such a short film. There are quadruple crosses, flashbacks within flashbacks, and mountains of characters. I devoted so much time to keeping it all straight that I forgot to enjoy myself. The story could have been great if it were given more time to develop. Worst of all, the conclusion doesn't reward you for your attention. Watch this and wonder what could have been.

Where's the femme fatale? Why is the would be hero, such a pansy? He's no Humphrey Bogart, I'm very upset that this is a Film Noir.
