It's somewhat interesting until the guys who recorded it start bragging about how they went viral before it was cool. After that it's a self-congratulatory masturbatory mess.

Whoa there. 25 PSI? I loved this documentary, in the same league as American: The Bill Hicks Story. Funny, well put together, and I think you're missing the point a little bit if you're complaining about Ray and Peter not getting enough focus. To me, this was just as much about the nature of a viral phenomenon, and the ethics involved in the recordings, as about the two neighbours. Who I, as someone who was unaware of them before, incidentally thought got just the right amount of focus.

Gets better as it moves away from the origins of, & tiresome fawning over, cultishly popular audio recordings of 2 drunks monotonously berating each other, 2 the ensuing attempts 2 cash-in on this molehill turned mountain. It questions what ethical obligations should come w/ a product made essentially w/out permission. It saves the best 4 last as it movies past ironic snickering & attempts 2 find some answers regarding the 2 odd men who lived the lives many vultures could exploit.

Unfortunately, it's a really uneven film. Lots of down time is spent on the kids who did the recording, who are mind-numbingly dull compared to Ray and Peter.

"Even as a nascent example of a now-burgeoning trend, however, this initially intriguing doc never manages to justify its own superlative praise for Ray and Peter." - Nick Schager

As Raymond drunkenly announces, he and his loathed roommate are the human race -- so, jesus christ, just get out of the way of their fucking story already.
