Not one of my favorite "Masters of Horror" episodes. I understand all of the choices made in producing this, but I don't think very much could have made this storyline pop, to be honest.

Lucky McKee isn't going to make my "masters of horror" list, either, at least not because of this. The monster isn't very interesting, and the characters behave like idiots because the script demands it of them. The sapphists in _Claire of the Moon_ were dull, too, but at least they were smarter

it's poorly put together and acted, and ida's strange manner of speech is charming at first, but then crosses over into being really, really annoying. this actually feels more like one of those old goosebumps episodes than an actually professional movie, you know, aside from the nudity and lesbianism.

the positives you have Erin Misty Mundane Brown and Angela Bettis together...the negatives everything else..the masters of horror series was such a horrible concept very few worked...and this was a good idea and Lucky McKee is a great director and the actresses did thier best..it was bad

Fun entry in the Masters of Horror series. Softcore cutie Misty Mundae appears under her real name, and she gives a fine performance, playing well off of straight laced Angela Bettis.

I typically like body horror, but it took all my energy NOT to turn this off. I've seen some student films that felt less amateurish than this (search for the bug montage! huzzah!), and Bettis was horribly annoying throughout the entire thing. And honestly, the moral undercurrents may be a step back for lesbians. Really insulting, but at least the effects were good.
