Wilder and Pryor run away with this runaway train movie. Hiller doesn't seem to know what to do with a comedy, and just contents himself with pointing the camera at the stars. It's enough, just barely.

A classic from when I was a kid. By "classic" I mean a movie they played so much on TV you couldn't help but finally watch it 35-40 times. Fun film though, even though probably 30 minutes can be cut easily (is there a union rule that 70's movies HAVE to feature a biplane?).

Has its moments (blackface, train crash) and it's always a pleasure to watch Gene Wilder but 'Silver Streak' is ultimately overly long, boring and forgettable. Cool to see Scatman though, the voice of Jazz in G1 Transformers.

A rather fun and entertaining comedy/thriller. Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor play off of one another's characters incredibly well, and the bathroom scene is utterly hilarious. Sports a pretty good cast for a train movie set in the 70s. Look out for a young Fred Willard in a small role near the end of the flick.

I don't know why, but I just love this movie. Gene Wilder is top notch in this story about mistaken identity. The obligatory appearance of Richard Pryor just adds to the mix.

An absolutely wonderful blend of both comedy and action, with a variety of scenes that, due to either censorship or political correctness, can only be found in the 70s. Excellent pacing throughout, a hilarious and unusual villain, and numerous outstanding performances, not just from Wilder and Pryor, but Beatty, Willard, and Crothers as well. The scene with Wilder doing blackface is still one of the funniest in film history.
