A quirky film with more style than substance, but the style it has is original, clever, and witty enough to keep the film entertaining. Well worth a watch.

Imagine a mix of Desperado, Crossroads and Stephen King's The Dark Tower with katanas and Gretsch guitars. Now imagine it being actually really entertaining.

Surreal and low budget, with a pretty good allegory going on. Except for that FUCKING KID.

If you described the concept of this movie to me, I would just assume I would love it. Unfortunately, it doesn't really take advantage of its wild premise, and is more dull then anything.

The exact kind of movie that would've been my favorite in high school. But it felt more like a long string of video game cutscenes than a movie. Also, for a movie built around throwing the wackiest character designs at the two leads for the entire movie, it was remarkably predictable, unsubstantial, serious about its camp, and less fun than it should've been. There isn't 30 seconds of the film where you can't predict the next 30 with almost total accuracy. Still an interesting flick overall.

The concept was a good one, but I could have done without that annoying kid screaming UHHHHHHHHH every time he wanted something. Also, where the hell was the awesome guitar battle in Lost Vegas; I thought that was the whole point of the movie! It felt like half a movie, with some great sets, but ultimately poor acting, and poor realization of what otherwise could have been a great movie. The only reason it scored so high was because I love The Red Elvises. :)

i really wish this was better

Repetitive, boring, and a real disappointment for me. It seems like somebody just wrote "ZANY" down on their "Movie Idea" chalkboard and then erased the details that would've helped to make this interesting.

Highly entertaining and very well put together. I was amazed that they were able to keep up the pace set from the very beginning, but they managed to pull it all off. I highly recommend it to anyone who's intrest is peaked by this title.

This is a fun rock-n-roll/martial arts/fantasy flick with a sword swinging Buddy Holly lookalike taking on cannibals, evil bowlers, Russian rockabilly dudes, and Death himself in the future wastelands of Nevada. It's Mad Max, Crossroads, The Warriors and Lone Wolf & Cub in a blender. Falters a bit towards the end, but some fun costumes and insane characters. Excellent surf-soundtrack also.

Excrutiatingly boring indie feature strives desperately for coolness, but for some reason finds it necessary to include the most annoying kid in film history (scratch that- in HISTORY - period). Overrated film school dreck.

the concept is really good, it could've been so much better, the little kid screaming uuuuuuhhhh every 30 seconds ruined it, i felt like punching his face everytime he did that! ps. the soundtrack is awesome

creative and cheesey in the good way, but not very re-watchable.

Overrated and totally boring. The fight scenes were really repetitive and as soon as you get past the novelty, the movie runs out of steam.

Good photography, costumes, sets and plot. Bad acting and poor execution. Entertaining enough though, in a turn-your-brain-off kinda way.
