A movie that gets you to root for a car salesman. Not the deepest of subjects, but funny and interesting (I need more words besides interesting, intriguing and engaging). Great soundtrack of Stax/Volt classics, appropriate for the Memphis setting.

This is an excellent documentary. Michael Bennet, a foul-mouthed, hyperactive, mercenary, master used-car salesman nicknamed The Slasher, is a fascinating subject. Despite his sleazy objective you can't help rooting for him. Landis turns out to be an amazing documentarian. The film has no narration or commentary. Landis just let's you form your own opinions about this guy and his business. Bennet has been hired to do a job and it's compelling to see if he can pull it off.
