It's worth a watch for fans of the genre if only for the interviews. However, as a documentary it's shoddily made, tacky, cliched and does not imbue any real insight to the subject matter. What's worse it feels like many of the interviews were expurgated to fit what the filmmaker thought was "the essence of southern metal". This creative license really makes the film seem like fanboy propaganda rather than a real documentary
