A classic movie about nerds and the paths they choose in life as they age. The first (and last) movie I ever saw on laser disc has always left an impression on me not because of the technology, but because the interaction of characters reminds me greatly of humanity and our struggle with it.

Technology in the film is a bit dated, but decent period piece for what it's worth

Mistake - When Whistler is driving the van, he hits the two cars and knocks out the driver's side headlight, yet right after this and through the rest of the film, the headlight works properly.

Only realistic hacking movie I've seen so far. Granted, it's still not the real thing, but I dig the old style phreaking anti-MaBell type stuff.

Not bad.

Passable thriller is entertaining and Redford is watchable as ever, but it won't stick to your ribs much.

Very good movie with an excellent cast and solid premise but my God the soundtrack was just horrendous. It didn't fit with the film at all. It felt like a fantastic spy movie but with the soundtrack to Peter Pan or some fairy tale none sense. I don't know what the hell happened hear because normally I enjoy James Horner's work but this felt so out of place it took me right out of the film.
