Perfect Wilder script and direction, feels way shorter than 2 hours. I especially thought Lemmon was brilliant, and Marylin Monroe is incredible. "That's the radio. It's like taking someone to a concert when he's tone-deaf."

Lemmon and Curtis are absolutely hilarious and Monroe equally beautiful. Add that to fantastic writing and great cinematography and you have a home run.

Just perfection ! Great characters, brilliant dialogue, snappy one liners and Marilyn Monroe playing the Eukalele .. what more could any film want? Jack Lemmon and Tony Curtis are brilliantly funny with some great 50's Hollywood in-jokes for the real officionadoes. This should be in any film collection worth its salt. Guaranteed to make you laugh.

I've seen this several times, and I just don't see what's so funny about it. I just don't see what everybody else does, for some reason. Don't understand the appeal; it's a one-note gag that gets old quickly.

It hasn't aged well, in my opinion. Plus, Marilyn was not attractive at all in this movie, and i don't think it was because she was pregnant.

The film really deserves all the praise received. This is a great story, beautifully told by director Billy Wilder and stars Jack Lemmon in a good shape and a beautiful Marilyn Monroe. But it is also true, that is so naive that today is a little silly. But it is a classic.

The whole drag thing gets old pretty fast, and I thought the jokes weren't very clever, but Monroe is great.

This is fairly entertaining and doesn't really have any down moments and all, and is surprisingly well paced. As others have said it has actually aged really well, and all the little innuendos are hilarious. It's not particularly my thing, but it's certainly well done and has some memorable circumstances!
