this movie is essentially purified melodrama, none of the characters are relatable in any way, actually they're downright unlikable. the story is boring and the dialog is people creating their own problems when there really is no conflict at all. it's a horrible movie, but it's cool to see stockwell as a young man.

Solid, well made drama with good performances and interesting ideas. It's a bit dated, but still enjoyable.
