Speedy Gonzalez was always one of my favorite cartoons as a kid. A super-powered Mexican rodent complete with sombrero and a badass mustache who loved delicious cheese and always showed up my least favorite Looney Tunes character, Sylvester? What's not to love?! Unlike the despicable, brainless Road Runner, you could actually get behind and root for Speedy here. And of course, as a kid, "Andale! Andale! Arriba! Arriba!" was the greatest catchphrase ever. A damn good short.
