Action-packed and fun as hell are two effective ways to describe this one, and for whatever reason, Tobey Maguire's boyish looks work as Peter Parker/Spiderman, which was a complete shock the first time I saw it.

The one thing I took out of this is that Tobey Maguire is a very good actor. Not usually a big fan of the whole comic book thing, but he had me buying into the character from the get go. Kristen Dunst tries to hurt the movie with her annoying cackling screams, but it didn't work. I still found myself pretty much tuned in throughout to see how this would end. I thought the story was easy to follow and didn't lag either. Good show Peter Parker.

This was an amazing movie to see in theatre with the big screen and sound the first time. I came out of the theatre buzzing with how good it was. I still like this movie, but the feeling has warn off with repeat viewings.

A lot of people I know say Maguire is a terrible choice for SpiderMan, I'm going to start by saying Peter Parker is a dork, Maguire is perfect. I thought this was a cool new generation Spiderman movie. I'm a fan of superhero movies that are about the origin so that was probably my favorite part. The green goblin was a good choice for Spiderman's first enemy cause they do have the most history, even though he's not MY favorite bad guy. Goblin's robot like suit was kinda dumb though.
