This was actually my favorite of the series. I felt that the entire thing was hokie - they didn't try to make it serious. Doc Oc was well-played and the costumes and special effects worked well with the plot.

While the first film was primarily an action movie, this one takes a fresh new direction. It adds drama and internal struggle to Parker. Raimi's added a lot more humor here, too. Just simple things but they're quite effective. Molina is a great Doc Ock. Spectacular action sequences. Highly recommended.

After setting the Spider-man universe into motion with the fisrt movie, Raimi really lets it expand and bloom gloriously with this second outing. The psychological impact upon all of the characters and their involvement with Spider-man is what really makes this film wonderful.

The things the first did well, this one does even better. The things the first did bad, this one does even worse. The bad outweighs the good. This is one of the corniest movies I've ever seen, even for a comic book movie.
