Well shot but pales in comparison to Life is Beautiful to which Toyland is very similar.

David is going away. He is Heinrich's best friend. Heinrich is told that David is going to Toyland. Heinrich wants to go with David to Toyland. But David is not going to Toyland. David is Jewish. These mere 14 minutes touched me much more than any other 14 minutes in any given movie - perhaps with the exception of Life is Beautiful. And that is actually not a bad movie to compare Toyland to. With the harsh reality and a great sensation in your stomach, you have been brought a masterpiece.
